Things I Like About Living in Long Beach

-Walking to the Post Office and passing the two squirrels who live on our street
-Living 1.1 miles from the beach
-The haphazard zoning
     A house next to a bookstore next to two houses next to a Chiropractor next to another few houses next to a corner market across the street from a Jewish temple,  all three blocks from our place
-Excellent Ethnic Cuisine on 2nd Street
-People walking everywhere
-Mexican Markets with creative spelling (Top Valu, no "e" on the end) and amazingly fresh and diverse selections of produce for pennies
    Plus you feel like you're on a trip because your husband is the only blond person in the store
-Beach cottages with miniature everything... mini porches, dormers, gardens, sun rooms, dogs
-Beach cruisers with baskets to do the marketing
-CHEAP RENT!
-7 Fried Chicken Fast Food Restaurants within 4 blocks (not that we've tried any of them).
