What's Going On?

We have had almost our entire annual rainfall in 
just three days!  

There was even a tornado off of the pier at 
 Huntington Beach yesterday afternoon.

While cuddling in this cold weather is fun,

 the garage flooding and the roof leaking in our bedroom last night was not.

Thankfully, our neighbor climbed up on the tallest ladder I've ever seen and opened our rain gutter wider, then put a tarp in the corner that was leaking.  This was all while we cleaned up the mud in the garage, threw away two boxes and rescued our poor Christmas tree (who made it through ok, even if the box did not).

Just a few streets down from us (on Termino) cars were flooded up to the dash!
